Martti is a long-time entrepreneur who has settled in the capital region from Lapland and for whom sales are a matter of the heart.
For ten years, he ran three kitchen furniture stores as a franchise entrepreneur, and when it was time to jump towards something new, the decision to move to the real estate industry was self-evident.
Sales has always been Martti’s strength and years of experience in construction and furnishing gave him a strong foundation for working with apartments. A career that has long revolved around housing took the next natural step.
There is still a touch of northern relaxation in Lapland native Martti’s demeanor, even though he has spent 30 years in the bustle of the capital city. His excellent understanding of people is also an advantage in real estate deals, as a former police officer Martti gets along well with many different types of people. His ten-year career as a police officer brought a straightforward attitude to his work, so challenging situations or tough discussions don’t faze him. In life’s most important deals, honesty is a necessity, and Martti’s attitude also earns praise from clients.
Martti operates in his home neighborhood in downtown Helsinki as well as throughout Uusimaa. As a specialty, it should also be mentioned that Martti is a rare sight in the brokerage industry because trips to showings don’t happen in his own car – instead he uses a bicycle, public transportation, or a car-sharing service.
When Martin switches to leisure time, his everyday life is spent diversely staying active, and among other things, golf, gym training and cycling keep this father of two on the move. Poker is also one of his passions – perhaps because the game emphasizes the same traits as sales: perseverance, tenacity and understanding people.
