Founded in 2017, real estate agency ROOF is challenging the industry with new services and modern tools. Last year, the company sold apartments worth over 65 million euros. Turnover increased by 98 percent from the previous year, and the company made a profit for the second year in a row. The number of employees has grown from 6 to almost 30.
New tools and a commission model bring in results
ROOF has created a new service concept for its agents, which includes, among other things, a furnishing and styling service as well as a booking and assistant service. Currently, booking alone generates an average of 60 customer meetings per month for agents. Top agent Minna Uski’s number of assignments almost doubled when she introduced the assistant service.

The exceptional 100% commission model helps maximize sales results. Brokers who have moved to Roof from elsewhere have seen their own sales increase by up to 70 percent at best.
The new service concept has also brought new talented and ambitious brokers into the industry. For example, Anne Ramsay, who started as a sales consultant last year, sold apartments worth 6 million euros in her first seven months at Roof.

The only one in the industry: rental apartment styling and professional photographer
ROOF offers listing photos taken by a professional photographer and apartment styling also in rental properties, which significantly increases the interest in rental advertisements.
“Oikotie and Etuovi are not the only channels for marketing apartments. Social media is an important tool, and we utilize it in the best possible way,” says Roni Porokara.
The rental guarantee and rental agency guarantee we offer ensure a smooth and secure rental relationship: ROOF guarantees the tenant’s rent payment, and if the tenant terminates the rental agreement before the end of the agreement, ROOF will find a new tenant free of charge.
ROOF’s rental service grew by 162 percent last year. One example is the recently concluded rental assignment for 100 apartments in the Helsinki city center. ROOF also offers rental property management services, which included approximately 400 apartments in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area last year.
New area of operation and board reinforcements
ROOF expanded its operations from Uusimaa to Turku in the fall of 2018. In addition, the company received new board reinforcements when legal and financial management pioneers, Premium Group founders Pasi Raitala and Oscar Geagea, and Motley Agency founder Arto Martonen, brought their expertise and experience to the company.
